November 2006, San Antonio, TX - iCentrix to Partner with Mental Health Corporations of America in Benchmarks Initiative

iCentrix has recently begun work on the Benchmarks for Excellence in Behavioral Health Care - Survey Data Collection and Reporting Project with Mental Health Corporations of America, Inc. (MHCA). Designed to streamline manual data collection and reporting, this project will significantly enhance the yearly MHCA Corporate Benchmarking initiative.

With the new system in place, member organizations will be able to replace traditional survey forms with a series of on-line screens accessed via a web browser thereby simplifying the completion process. Once submitted, a SQL database/data warehouse will serve as the data repository. Participating agencies will be able to compare their organization's performance to a broader sample of companies. Being a historical database, organizations can evaluate their own performance over time while looking for trends and the impact of process improvements.

iCentrix has been working with MHCA staff including CEO Don Hevey, Director of the National Data Center Nancy Maudlin and Director of Information Systems Frank Collins. After several analysis meetings, a proposal was prepared by iCentrix and reviewed by a MHCA Steering Committee. Work began in early October including database set up and forms development. This project will continue over the next few months with expectations running high for a state of the art system that will be a showcase for industry professionals across the United States.
