Multiple Content Sources
Juggling content from multiple sources can be a daunting task. Most data sources have their own data formats, update schedules and rules, making management cumbersome and difficult.
ICE-CMS framework aims to simplify this process by accommodating the unique data requirements of each distinct data source and pre-processing this for relevance, validity and integrity. This procedure accounts for different data elements, "kicks out" exceptions and categorizes all content.
Once loaded into the "Meta data" model, information from various data sources can be centrally managed and expertly distributed to appropriate users. Pages can consist of content from many different sources and provide access to further information on each data source used.
