Publishing is the heart of ICE-CMS. This process dynamically merges all content data stored in the database with the appropriate presentation styles, creating static pages that consist of data and layouts that can be easily changed.
Publishing looks at several factors when determining what content to publish. Rules that account for last date of change and status of approval are considered before publishing.
When static pages are created with ICE-CMS, they retain full native support for dynamic operations. This means that no other tool or technology is required to perform searches, process forms or present surveys.
