The Rhode Island Council of Community Mental Health Organizations (RICCMHO) is a responsive resource comprised of private, non-profit community mental health organizations in Rhode Island. Established in 1979, the Council is an effective conduit through which member organizations channel their collective expertise to form a united voice of public advocacy for all persons with mental illness.
Designed to coordinate the strength of its members, the RICCMHO operates on the belief that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. This principle is activated through a full range of diverse projects, each reflecting state-wide unity and commitment to Rhode Island citizens living with mental illness.
